One Glance Status Page

1Kosmos offers identity proofing software, and customers needed an at-a-glance system health view. I was responsible for designing a snapshot view that made “all good” obvious and “something’s wrong” impossible to miss.

With limited space and the need for instant clarity, I leaned on color to communicate system status at a glance. I used green to show all systems running smoothly instead of a neutral color like gray which could imply “no activity” or “pause” instead of “everything's good.”

The colors: red flagged urgent issues, while dark blue signaled upcoming maintenance without implying a problem. I kept “no maintenance scheduled” green so clients could scan and immediately see a list of green and know - all systems clear.

This new status view gave clients real visibility. They could loop in their devs faster, contact 1Kosmos support easier, and stay ahead of problems instead of reacting after something broke. After launch, clients started catching issues within hours instead of days or weeks.
